Vehicle Description: I bought this car off of a gentleman that had owned it since new in 1995. He had driven the car as a daily driver untill the mid 70's and this accounted for the majority of the miles. He then drove the car a few times a year and had it maintained flawlessly untill I got to it. When the car was bought it was 100% original with ZERO rust and had never been wrecked. Although the car was an excellent driver, the original paint had faided, the leather interior and top had deteriorated, and it ws generally showing it's age. The car was completely restored in 1999 and has been driven less than 500 miles since. The car is in perfect shape from top to bottom and does not need any work. It drives and looks as good, if not better than when new. The number's match and the car is as original an E-type as you will find anywhere. I also have the original factory hard top available. It has been painted the car color and has the chrome rear window strip intact. I appologize for the picture quality. The photos were taken recently, the date stamp was set incorrectly. I will take more photos and can send them if requested.
Vehicle Condition: The car went thru a complete restoration in 1999. The car was dissasembled and had a bare body paint job. All the chrome was rechromed, the interior was completely recovered in leather, all rubber seals replaced, new convertible top, and new chrome wire wheels. Mechanically the brakes and suspension were dissasembled and rebuilt, the rear-end and gearbox were removed and rebuilt, and the wiring/electrics were gone thru. The engine had excellent compression and oil pressure and showed no signs of wear so it was cleaned and re-installed.
