Dry stored by owner until 2018 and sold to a friend of his son who used it infrequently covering only 2752 miles in 2 years. In need of paint and trim repairs due to sun damage but totally original.Being shipped to UK for very sensitive re-commissioning . Will remain LHD.

Car arrived on 15.10.2020 from California. My restorer says he has never seen an E with absolutely no rust at all before. One of the last 1 1/4 cars ( totally pure series 1 but with no headlamp glass ) as built mid July 1967 with ! 1/2 cars commencing beginning August 1967. After a levels check car started and run - Oil Pressure good, Water Temperature good and Alternator charging but will need full recommissioning before a run. All original tools, jack, drivers wallet and handbook with car - Jack has never been used ! Phots to follow.Very sympathetic restoration to follow trying to keep all original components etc.
