Ebay item 10/12/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-convertible-looks-like-67-/250908116569
Opening bid $38,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 5 days left in auction. Buy it now price $53,000. 41k miles.

Sellers description:
This car looks like a '67 with its covered headlights and drives like one with the triple SU carbs and no emissions equipment. it has the '68 more comfortable seats and rocker switches. It has been updated to make it a reliable driver. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt,a new aluminum radiator and high efficiency fan added. New frame members for the front have been added. It has adjustable shocks front and rear, Wilwood disc brakes on the front wheels, a spin-on oil filter adapter, a new starter motor and a rebuilt alternator. Receipts are available documenting all work and there are less than 10,000 miles on all updates. Very little rust, the car has always been in either California or Arizona. Paint, chrome look good. I have owned the car since 1998. Car is available for inspection in Gilbert, Arizona. All numbers match and the heritage certificate has been issued confirming the numbers.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
