I was about to put in this car number of a car I bought in1984 to be restored by a "friend" from whom I bought my first sports car, a TR-4. The jag was in fairly poor shape, Willow Green, titled as a 1968, located in Monroe, La. My friend took the money and used it to build a remote control lawn mower which he dreamed of making millions - but of course it never got out of his backyard.. By the time I realized the car was sitting outside rotting, it was too late. In about 1994 I trailered it to Baton Rouge, La. and sold it for virtually nothing to a Jag broker in the area.
