Ebay item 11/13/21
www.ebay.com/itm/403292573442
Current bid: $3,050 reserve not met 5 bids, 9 days left in auction, seller dusty356a, 11k miles.

Seller's description:
1968 Jaguar E-type S1 Roadster: Factory Carmen Red with black interior; all numbers match; stored 10 years and not driven; Jaguar Heritage Certificate included. This car underwent a "driver" level restoration 10 to 15 years ago and has not been driven since. We tested the engine and it runs evenly on all cylinders, good compression and oil pressure. All other mechanical systems need to be checked prior to driving.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
