Sellers description:
This E type S1.5 Roadster has recently been imported from the USA and currently located at my garage in Cheshire, UK. For sale with clear USA Title and EU Taxes Paid Certification.
This car is very straight and tidy, an excellent base to create a superb E Type Roadster of the prettier early variety. The interior is very nice and other than a good clean, it will happily go again. The hood cover appears good too.
The body is really straight and appears to be generally free of filler, with an excellent rust free bonnet, good outer panels, good front frames; there is some of the dreaded rust though: the car requires the usual new floors and sills, however the bulkheads have been spared and the boot floor looks good too (save for one very small internal repair required to one of the boot floor strengtheners), one new door skin is required - I assume a result of blocked drain holes.
I have not tried running this car the E Type 4.2 engine is complete and hooked up, it is free (turns freely) and I would imagine with a little recommissioning will be a runner.
