Vehicle Description: Classic 1968 Jaguar XKE Convertible

You are bidding on a classic 1968, Jaguar XKE convertible.

This car has a 4.2-liter, 6 cylinder engine and is in good mechanical condition.

Vehicle Condition: This car has been classified as a category III car where category I are showcase cars and category V are parts cars. It is a solid driving car. It is a nice original car which has been used for occasional local drives.

The body appears to be all original without any rust. When the car was purchased from C.P.I. on the Main Line, PA, it had a new exhaust system, was newly painted and new black leather seats were installed. The paint job is descent but there are a couple of paint chips, one more notably on the back lid above the 3 in the back license plate NN23 and one thin scratch to the red primer coat on the passenger side front panel. There is no boot for the original convertible top and chrome is missing on the top driver’s side.

Car currently has 2 bids with 4 day 13 hours to go it is currently priced at US $18,200.00 (reserve not yet met)

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
