Sold by DM Historics at E Type UK of Hadlow in August 2022. Abbreviated seller's description below.
www.dmhistorics.com/showroom/sold/1964-jaguar-e-type-series-1-42-rhd-ab/
Built in October 1964, this E Type coupe was supplied to C H Truman, the distributor for Nottinghamshire. Registered in early 1965 witha Nottingham registration, forward to the present day and it retains the same registration. Recently restored it retains its original factory combination, Opalescent Dark Blue paintwork with Grey trim, matching carpets and headlining. Boasting beautiful lines and gaps, with originality a priority it has been treated to upgrades that include full stainless steel exhaust with ceramic coated manifold, modern alternator, adjustable suspension, stainless steel 15'' wire wheels.
Fitted with the 4.2 litre XK engine, this E Type is a true driver's car, paired with a 4 speed synchromesh gearbox, it reflects what it was like to drive these cars. Since restoration was completed it has had little use. Recently prepared by E Type UK, this is an unmissable opportunity to own a British icon. Supplied with heritage certificate, an extensive history file, documentation of the recent restoration and a copy of the original log book.
