Car to be at auction 1/14
www.coys.co.uk/auction.php
Auction description:
Lot 225 - 1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 Coupe - Only 2 owners from new
Estimate: £52,000 - £65,000
Registration Number: FVH 552C
Chassis Number: 1E-20109
Finished in arguably the best colour for an early E-type, red over tan, this delightful 65' car is an original UK right hand drive car! The quality of the re-trimmed interior is wonderful, and makes the cockpit a pleasurable environment for both passenger and pilot.
Complete with a large history file, containing various bills and receipts, and boasting just two owners from new, this matching numbers car is offered with an MoT until November 2014.
Rarely do 4.2 specification cars come on the open market in such a delightful colour combination. Don't miss your chance to own one of the twentieth centuries most iconic cars. The Jaguar E-type.

Why is the estimate on this car about 75% higher than 20030 which is in the same auction ? Perhaps it's the yucky interior !?

Car first registered with Huddersfield Borough Council on 24 August 1965. Currently for sale at Chelsea Cars International of London. An original UK supplied car with only two previous owners. Red coachwork with tan interior to a high standard.
