Hello to down-under!
What wheels do you have on your car. The first picture seems to reveal some alloy type of wheels - is this correct and if yes, which wheels are or were they?
Could you also please provide some more pictures (bigger ones?)
Thank you - enjoy the summer

Differential ratio is now 3.31. This car is also fitted with Series 2 gearbox ratios which are a bit lower in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The idea is to make it a bit more lively. With the same intent the car has the series 3 XJ6 cylinder head (1.875" inlet valves) and higher lift, longer duration valves. There's also a lightened steel flywheel.
In the stopping department there are Girling 3 pot calipers at the front acting on ventilated discs. At the rear are Girling calipers.

As at 22 Nov 2023 the gearbox is described as “original”. However, in the comment dated 2008-01-29 I stated that “this car is fitted with Series 2 gearbox ratios”. That seems contradictory, but is not. When I overhauled the gearbox I fitted the gears out of a Series 2 car into my original gearbox body. So, the gearbox body is the original casting and the original lid is stamped “EJ3465”. Having said that, I am currently re-building the car with a 5 speed gearbox. The original gearbox will be retained for the car’s next custodian.
