Car to be at auction 12/10
www.coys.co.uk/fpA207.php

Auction description:
TRUE GREATS, Royal Horticultural Halls, London
Tuesday 7th December 2010
Royal Horticultural Halls
Elverton Street, Westminster, SW1P 2PE

1966 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series 1 Fixedhead Coupe
Lot 757
Registration Number: ETM 734D
Chassis Number: 1E21301
Estimate: £45,000 - £55,000

First registered in 1966, ETM 734D was supplied new to the UK. The lustrous shine of the gun metal grey paintwork complements the red leather interior perfectly. This is, arguably the most desirable colour combination for an E-type. ETM 734D has been subject to a two year nut and bolt rebuild, and can only be described as being in concours condition throughout. The underbonnet on this car sparkles, and the engine along with transmission are described to be in excellent working order. A fresh MoT certificate will be supplied at the time of sale.

This is a never to be repeated opportunity to acquire a stunning example of arguably the most beautiful car of all time. With the prices of e-types rising steadily, and 2011 celebrating the E-types 50th anniversary, an example as fine as this will not be this affordable for long.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
