Purchased in '79, garaged in '85 with failing u-joints, which I have still in boxes.
No rust, complete.

I just purchased the car in 12/06. I noticed that it has the specail "J/66" tag that the California DMV installed on the ID tag in the engine compartment when it was new in 1966. All the numbers match but the colors appear to have been changed. Incredibly rust free but in need of mechanical refurbishment due to have been in dry storage for about 20 years.

After much work rebuilding the complete brake system, cooling system and fuel systems I was able to get the car driving quite well. On 4/4/2008 I sold this car to a gentlemen from England by the name of Michael Moore, Willow Farm, Ivinghoe Aston, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire LU7 9DF, United Kingdom. I thought it was fitting that the car was returned to the land of its birth.
