Car listed for sale at www.carnewz 11/18/2002. 1966 Jaguar 4.2 E-Type Series One Coupe VIN 1E32580. Straight original car. Opalescent Maroon w/ Black interior. Jaguar heritage certificate with known history (last 20 years in Texas). 20k miles on rebuilt engine. Seats restored in correct leather and suede. New chrome resonators. Interior, exterior chrome and glass has been removed for painting. Body is stripped to bare metal and needs rust repair to drivers door (new skin included), exterior rockers and lower panel on bonnet. No collision damage ever. Body rubber kit included. Chrome is in good condition and rust free. Glass is good. Gas tank is rust free. Needs new interior kit, wire wheels and tires. Good original three ear knock-offs. Car was running well when second owner diaassembled for restoration. Wife died and car was never finished. Has been in storage for several years so assume everything with a seal needs replacement. An honest, well documented, original series one coupe that can be restored to whatever standard you choose. Starting new business and don't have the funds to take on this project. Car is in Plano, Texas (Dallas) and can be seen anytime. Digital pictures available upon request. $8,995 or highest offer.

Sellers description:
This 1967 Jaguar E-Type Coupe (Chassis 1E32580, Engine No. 7E7825-9, Body No. 4E23801) has been owned by the seller for 10 years, and is said to have the matching number 4.2L engine and gearbox. The car has been stripped for paint and is now in grey primer, and the seller states that the body is very straight and dry apart from the lower driver door, for which a repair panel is included. The engine runs smoothly and all gauges work, and the car wears new Dunlop tires and includes eight spoke wheels. It is available in Oklahoma City for $15,000 OBO.
