This 1966 Jaguar XKE 4.2 Fixed Head Coupe (Chassis 1E33635) is very complete but in need of serious restoration. The engine is stuck and the seller removed 1972 Michigan plates that he believes represent the last time the car was driven. There is not much information on the car. This one is available in Rochester Hills, Michigan for $10k OBO.

Adding to the mystery, the seller tells us that he "found a document in the car stating that someone (the owner?) was deported from Canada in 1972 as well." The body looks reasonably straight, but the bonnet is dented at the front and driver side. The seller doesn't know much about the car and there is no documentation, but the title is in his name. Any info that can be provided by BaT readers is appreciated.

The interior looks to be in better shape, with seats and rear tray area in fairly good condition. The factory steering wheel and shift knob are intact, and the entire dash is intact and looks unmodified.

The engine bay looks very complete, but there is corrosion everywhere. The frame member below is in plain view and looks much better than on the V8-converted car from last week, but we'll rely on the Jag experts to give their opinions based on the photos. All three carbs are intact and fitted with the stock airbox.
