Ebay item 9/9/10

Current bid $14,000, no reserve, 4 bids 9 days left in auction.

I have owned this car for 15 years. The restoration is 10-15 years old. It has always been stored in a climate controlled building and has never experienced the winter weather. New Paint job in 1999. New brakes and exhaust. Tires are in excellent condition. Just had a New York State Inspection , emergency brake holds. New knock off wheel hubs and polished wire rims along with many more improvements. This car fires up smoothly, and is a blast to drive. Always shifts easily into every gear and pulls strongly without hesitation. All gauges work properly and the compression is 150lbs in all 6 cylinders. The car has never overheated.
The body is solid. It does has have some dings and minor dents and scratches. Has a small rust spot on the heel of the front fender. Rockers are solid, need cleaning up from stone chips. inside door seams and rear door seams are clean, Bonnet and trunk open and close fine. Floor pans & trunk floor are also solid. Some minor surface rust in spots, but no holes. Frame is solid and in good condition. Chrome trim is complete and also in good condition.
Interior... seats, upper dash, and center arm rest have been professionally restored. The door panels, console, carpets and headliner still need to be done. A good detailing on the rest of the interior would make a huge improvement. Radio unfortunately does not work ,was new in 2000.
Mileage shown on the odometer cannot be confirmed to be original.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
