Seen on eBay, 5/2003. Ad reads:
"Heres your chance to get an awesome collector car for a good price you dont see these come on the market very often.
I have owned this car for almost 30 years but have reluctantly decided to sell, the car needs total restoration.
I have a rubber seal kit I purchased in 1985 I paid 500.00 for it then.
Car has been stripped so there is some rust but nothing serious.
I have the front and back bumpers.side glass
California conversion, powered by a 302 Ford with automatic transmission."

Spoke to the current owner who has it up for auction on EBay and he says the frames have been altered (widened) by 2 inches to fit the Ford engine down between the frames. It sounds like the firewall/trans-tunnel has been chopped up a bit too. He also says he threw things away when he was disassembling it like the seats for instance because he never planned on putting them back in. ARGH!

BTW, he says it is structurally sound even with the cutting that was done to the car because he has had the car up over 160MPH. All I can say is "brave man..."

I now own this car. Added extra data numbers from ID plate even though the engine & gearbox are not original.
