cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-JAGUAR-1968-XKE-COUPE-FOR-RESTORATION-NO-R ...
Current bid $2,025, 12 bids 3 days left in auction. 72k miles.
Sellers description:
You are bidding on my 1968 Jaguar xke coupe fastback, this is not the 2+2 version. I acquired this car recently tucked away for the last 15 years in storage, and do not have the time to restore this classic. It is pretty much complete , and the engine is loose, so with a minor tune up, I believe the car would start. It does need a total restoration in my opinion. Located in Ohio.

Car returns to ebay 3/29/19
www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Jaguar-E-Type/323756664554
Opening bid US $10,000, no reserve, no bids 6 days left in auction, seller karmasjag, car now said to be in North Hollywood, California, 72k miles.
Seller's description;
This 1967 Opalescent Silver Blue Coupe no.1E35153 was sold on 4th March 1968 to Lt. H.E Ballard of the 48th Tactical Hospital based at Lakenheath Airbase in Suffolk, England. It went with him on his various assignments in the UK, including to the Greenham Common base, home the the cruise missiles, and a focus for the CND movement. It comes with the original bill of sale and original Manufacturers statement of origin dated 28th Feb, 1968.
This car needs outer floors, sills and deerskins, as well as a bonnet lower nosepiece. Various other rust repairs needed, but the car is very restorable. It came with open headlights, but included are the covered headlight glass and the panels for behind the headlights for a covered headlight conversion.
The car came to me with no motor, and it has a 3.8 Tri-carb drivetrain hung in there. The mileage stated I believe is correct. the upper body is quite nice and straight, bulkhead nice, rear end not been hit, straight in the front frames area, chassis rails good, reaction plate area good and straight, all fits together as it should. Trunk floor is not rotted out. Glass all there. extra rear hatch. Reclining seats good. There are no bumpers. Upper bonnet good except around the nose opening.
Everything I've collected over the years goes with this car. All the parts I have for the headlight conversion, two new outer sills, various panels and repair panels. Rear end tidy. Restoration project well worth doing, and I am available to restore the car if needed.
