Ebay item 8/25/08

Current bid $12,655 reserve not met, 5 bids, 6 days left in auction. 31k miles.

Sellers description:
A total restoration of the car was completed about 10 years ago, and the car has been driven only about 3,000 miles since then. The car was completely disassembled for restoration. Both the inside and outside of the car were completly stripped and resprayed with polyurethane paint. Some minor rust damage in the spare tire well was repaired, and both footwells were replaced. The interior was all new. All mechanical items; engine, transmission, rear end, etc.; were rebuilt with new parts. Everything electrical except the instruments and some rocker switches were rebuilt or replaced with new. Reused metal parts were resprayed or cadmium plated. The wire wheels except the spare were replaced with new wheels.

The car was not used for a year and runs ok but needs a minor tune up, and the carburetors could be rebuilt. The air conditioner did work but needs to be recharged. There is some rust on the chrome bumper over riders.

Some new spare and unused restoration parts and all manuals will be included with the car. The original wire wheels and new front and rear Amco bars will also be included. A spare tire, knock off hammer and tool, and a jack are not pictured but are included.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
