Ebay item 12/1/06
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1966-Jaguar-XKE-2-2-4-2-one-owner-manual-t ...
Current bid $1,000 reserve not met. 1 bid, 9 days left in auction. 48k miles.
Sellers description:
This car includes original owners manuals, shift knob, gas cap, tool kit, jack, owners guide for radio, fold out poster showing lubrication points, manufacturer's warranty booklet, periodic maintenance vouchers, booklet of worlwide dealers (25th Edition, October 1965).
The car received Ziebart rustproofing in December, 1969. An Abarth muffler system was installed on the car, however it now has a hole in it and should be replaced. An anti-theft switch was installed and can be used at the discretion of the driver when the car is parked.
The car has been in storage since 1972. There are some spots with rust in the engine compartment and underneath the car. The exterior paint is in good condition with a few nicks on the driver and passenger doors, front scoop and one chip on the rear hatch door. The chrome is in good condition with a few spots that may need to be rechromed.
The engine was serviced in August, 1996 by a Jaguar specialist (Stew Jones Restoration) and ran well.
