1967 JAGUAR XKE COUPE 4.3 LITER, 2+2 WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. FIRST SERIES OF THE XKE'S. COMPLETE, UNMOLESTED, #'S MATCHING CAR, SETTING IN A DRY GARAGE FOR aAT LEAST 15 YEARS. HAS BEEN RUNNING OFF AND ON FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS BUT WILL REQUIRE SOME WORK BEFORE IT IS ROAD WORTHY. MISSING THE SPARE TIRE AND TOOL SET. THE REAR DOOR MOLDING HAS BEEN REPLACED BUT DOES NOT LOOK CORRECT. THERE IS NO RUST (NONE, ZERO) ON THE BODY, ANYWHERE. THE BODY IS STRAIGHT WITH NO INDICATION OF DENTS OR DAMAGE. THERE IS SOME MINOR SURFACE RUST ON UNDERCARRIAGE SURFACES. SOME UNDERCARRIAGE SHEET METAL HAS SLIGHT BENDS AND DINGS AS MAY BE EXPECTED FROM A CAR THAT IS ONLY 4 INCHES OFF OF THE GROUND.
* IT APPEARS THAT EVERYTHING IS THERE ON THE CAR EXCEPT WHAT HAS BEEN STATED. ALL MOLDINGS, CHROME, GLASS, SWITCHES, ETC.
TAKE THE TIME TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE OR HIRE A THIRD PARTY TO DO IT FOR YOU.......BUT PLEASE DON'T EXPECT A RESTORED MINT CONDITON CAR FOR THIS PRICE AS SOME MEMBERS ARE DOING OUT THERE.

Was told by the previous owner that the engine and transmission had been rebuilt with less than 500 miles but I can not document that. The engine runs well but the valves need to be adjusted. The transmission is a Borg Warner. It shifts and drives in first, second and reverse but does not shift into third. I was told by a professional mechanic (that had limited Jag knowledge) that it is a pressure adjustment that is needed but I can’t guarantee that.
Known issues:
* Heater blower motor is there but not connected electrically
* Missing spare tire, jack and tool set
* Paint is nice at 20 feet but has imperfections (dust in paint and small blister behind right rear window)
* No radio
* 1 carb float sticks intermittently
* does not shift into third
* rear door rubber seal does not appear to be correct
* bumpers need to be re-chromed
Also included:
· Service manuals-genuine Jaguar (Auto transmission, spare parts catalogue and supplementary information – 3 books)
· 2 new inner tubes
· several new wiper blades and arms
