Current bid $4,550 reserve not met, 8 bids 5 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
Up for sale is a 1967 Chevy Powered Jaguar XKE E-Type Coupe – 4.2L Engine. This is a very solid Series 1 car.

    Brand new Chevy 350 Engine

    Cover Headlights

    Odometer Reads 21 miles (Original)

The car is from Texas and has been always remained in this state. The title shows that the car was purchased in 1980 and I’m supposedly the third owner. This car has been stored in my garage since I purchased it in 2007.

This Jaguar XKE has been professionally converted into a powerful Chevy 350 engine. It runs great and looks good.

This car makes a great drive as is and could be also easily converted back to original with a Jaguar Engine.

BODY: The body is as close to being rust free original as you would expect to find. The car seems to have been painted one time and the paint looks good. The original color was RED I believe.

MECHANICS: Chevy 350 /automatic with very low mileage and racing shift gear. Runs good and looks good. Speedometer and Odometer are hooked up. Per my inspection, the card does not have ANY mechanical problem.

GLASS: All glass is fine including headlights covers. All trim is present as well.

CHROME: This car does have its original bumpers, grille and lights. The bonet is nice and features the covered headlights! Good looking original chromes

TIRES: The car has new and thin whitewalls on very nice chrome wires.

OTHER: New front shocks and a new battery. However, most of the rubber molding needs to be replaced.

INTERIOR: The entire interior has to be re-done including the headliner. I have almost every major piece of the prior interior. Please see pictures.

The car is located in Houston, Texas.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
