"Desirable 1967 Jaguar E Type
Matching numbers
4.2litre, manual transmission
Series 1 2+2
Left hand drive
Wire wheels
Here we have a fantastic solid E Type, this example has a very good shell.
This example has matching engine number.
The engine turns over on the key but I have not tried to start car as yet due to lack of time and health problems, speedometer reads 32K miles but I have no history to substantiate if this is the correct mileage. The original Tri carbs are fitted as you can see on pics, original air filter assembly is missing but available new. Gearbox selects all gears but internal condition unknown as I have not driven the vehicle. Engine oil is clean. I am sure it would run and drive with very little effort.
As you can see by the pictures the Body shell on this car is amazing, I have only spotted 1 small defect to weld on floor on front nearside jacking point, rest is solid, bonnet is excellent, engine frames are nice and straight, car has had a colour change at some point, originally the car was green. The car will need a repaint as there are some light dents and bruises from storage and paint has seen better days.
95% of the chrome needs nothing more than a good clean, bumpers are nice and straight.
Interior as you can see by pictures is very presentable, would benefit from a set of new carpets if your fussy. All gauges are correct, steering wheel is in nice condition, dash top pad is nice, few nicks out of piping on front seats but no rips or tears.
Windscreen has a crack so will need replacement.
The car is NOT UK REGISTERED as yet but I have the title and all taxes and duties have been paid.
If you wish to discuss the car in more detail I can be contacted on 07973 134872"
