Sold by Andrew Walker Cars of Templecombe in August 2022. Seller's description below. Listed on eBayUK
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1966-JAGUAR-E-TYPE-4-2-SERIES-1-LHD-2-2-FHC-/284890707260

A lovely old Series One 2+2 with manual gearbox, that was repainted in a fetching non-standard shade of metallic blue over 40 years ago. The last owner purchased it in 1988 at 35000 miles and left it in his garage for 30+ years. It is now showing 36017 miles which could be correct. It is excellent mechanically and drives extremely well. The interior is original and very good. There is no rot whatsoever, and the paintwork is presentable but showing a small area of blistering on the roof.

This is a very useable and practical classic with plenty of space and easy access compared with the standard FH coupe and roadster. It is UK registered, matching numbers and comes with a heritage certificate, NOVA notification confirming payment of all import duties, and a copy of the US title. Straightforward to convert to RHD if you are inclined.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
