1967 Jaguar XKE
49,249 Miles on Odometer
Maroon with Beige Leather Interior, Automatic Transmission, 4235 cc 4.2 Liter 6 Cylinder Twin Overhead Cam Engine
VIN: 1E76696BW
The owner of this beautiful XKE fell in love with Jaguars in the 50's. He has since owned several Jaguars in the past but this was his first and he has been the proud owner for the past 25 years.
Having recently down sized to a two car garage and now with grandchildren has less time to enjoy driving this fine automobile and less room for storage. So when wife said time to sell the owner agreed.
Excellent condition No Rust paint was very nicely redone 20 years ago to original color and still has wonderful luster and depth. There is one small ding in driver door does not break paint and could probably be removed by paint less dent removal there is also a small chip in the paint at the edge of the rear tail gate. Chrome and trim are excellent.
Interior:
Beige Leather Interior
Carpet was replaced when it was painted 20 years ago and leather was cleaned and conditioned but as far as we know is original. The interior is excellent with only a few minor flaws such as a small tear in the driver kick panel, a piece of the plastic surrounding the shifter is broken and one knob for the heater control is also missing. We also took notice that the radio is no longer working.
This car is PA State inspected and in excellent mechanical condition. Runs and drives fantastic. This could in fact be used as a daily driver it is that reliable. It is easy to spot this as a 4.2 Liter by the ribbed air cleaner we took close ups and the numbers match. This car has been meticulously cared for by the owner and will bring some lucky Jaguar enthusiast years of fun and performance.
