Ebay item 5/2/05
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $5,801.00 (Reserve not met), 9 bids, 5 days left in auction. VIN on this car is J671E77005BW, 52k miles.

Sellers description:
This is an extremely clean, VERY rust free, accident free, unrestored Low milage car car. I have searched high and low and can find no rust or rust repair anywhere! Let me stress the point, Very rust free. This car came from southern Oregon which is known for its very dry climate and it was garage kept which is why the interior looks so nice and is not faded. The drivers seat needs some repair and the floor mat on the drivers side is worn from use but keep in mind these are the originals and have never been replaced or repaired. We have installed a new fuel pump and battery, it will fire but the carbs are dried out and leak as a result. The car really is in surprisingly good condition. It looks as though it has had only one qaulity paint job over the original Willow Green. What I mean by quality is that they didn't paint all the rubber and trim. The paint is older and has a very few flaws. You Jag fans know this is the last year of the much sought after series 1 Jags, with the sleek looking full headlight cover. This is a very respectable car in its present condition, However, let me point out only the obvious. I would hate to see it happen and hate to call this a good parts car because it is a great parts car. The bonnet is nearly perfect, the chrome wire wheels are exceptional, Engine I was told was a great runner a few years back when parked with less than 52,000 miles showing on the odo (said to be total miles), rare automatic, steering wheel in awsome shape, nice pieces throughout front to rear, this is a clean original unmolested Jag. What is a Jag rearend worth nowadays. Somebody out there needs to rescue this beauty from the parts guy. Will it be you??? I am not a Jaguar expert, but I tried my best to describe the car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
