Current bid $3,419.69 reserve not met, 22 bids, 8 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1967 JAGUAR E-TYPE 2+2 COUPE PROJECT. POWERED BY A 4.2 LITRE SIX CYLINDER ENGINE WITH A THREE CARBURETOR CONFIGURATION. FOUR SPEED MANUAL GEAR BOX AND DESIRABLE INDEPENDENT REAR SUSPENSION.
THIS JAG QUALIFIES AS A TRUE BARN FIND. IN STORAGE SINCE 1981. IT APPEARS TO BE IN ORIGINAL CONDITION AND VERY CLOSE TO BEING 100% COMPLETE.
OFFERED AS A PROJECT FOR RESTORATION OR AS A PARTS DONOR FOR THE JAG YOU ALREADY HAVE.
IT WILL NEED COSMETIC AND MECHANICAL REPAIR. THE BODY HAS SOME RUST IN THE THE LOWER SIDE PANELS AND IN THE USUAL AREAS UNDERNEATH THAT E-TYPE JAGUARS COMMONLY DISPLAY. IT LOOKS TO BE SOLID AND IN BETTER CONDITION STRUCTURALLY THAN A LOT OF THEM I HAVE SEEN. THE BONNETT WILL NEED RUST REPAIR AND STRAIGHTENING AS WELL. THE STAINLESS AND CROME HAS SOME PITTING AND SCRATCHES. IT HAS NOT BEEN POLISHED YET SO IT'S TRUE POTENTIAL IS NOT BEING DISPLAYED. THE BACK GLASS IS BROKEN BUT THE REMAINING GLASS IS DECENT.
A REAR SEAL BEGAN LEAKING IN 1981, IT WAS PARKED AND HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN SINCE. THE ENGINE IS NOT LOCKED UP BUT HAS NOT BEEN STARTED SINCE 1981-82. IT WILL MORE THAN LIKELY NEED AN OVERHAUL. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY INTO ALL GEARS. THE CLUTCH AND CONDITION OF THE BRAKING SYSTEM IS UNKNOWN.
