This 1968 Jaguar XKE 2+2 was acquired by the seller approximately five years ago and subsequently refinished in red. The car is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and features a black leather interior, a push-button AM/FM radio, wire wheels with knock-off hubs, four-wheel disc brakes, and clear headlight covers. This XKE is offered with an owner’s manual, service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The hood was replaced with a 1967-vintage unit under previous ownership, and the car received a repaint in red by the seller. Equipment includes a fender-mounted antenna, a driver’s side-view mirror, headlight covers, and chrome bumpers and trim.

Polished 15″ wire wheels feature knock-off hubs and are wrapped in Dunlop tires. A full-size spare is found in the rear storage area, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rears.

The 2+2 cabin is trimmed in black leather with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a push-button AM/FM radio, an analog clock, a locking glovebox, and rocker switches for vehicle functions.

A three-spoke steering wheel features a black lace-up covering and frames a 160-mph Smiths speedometer and a tachometer. Auxiliary gauges mounted in the center stack display voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows just under 68k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter DOHC inline-six features twin Stromberg carburetors and aftermarket air cleaners. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The seller notes that only the last four characters of the vehicle’s VIN number are shown on the title.
