Sellers comment:
My wife and I are offering this fine XKE that we've owned for some time. We are the third owners and have put very few miles on it. Car has always placed at shows/tours that we attend. Car is always hauled in inclosed trailor & is stored inside. Its 4.2 6cyl is strong & fast as a XKE is expected to be. The 4 speed transmission & rearend are smooth & tight. The rear outboards have been polished for showing with or without wheels. The smooth alum parts on engine have been polished also. All 5 chrome wire wheels are very nice & have great tires on them. There is a NEW Tan/Black interior kit which was purchased from a Jaguar dealer. The XKE jack, hammer, & knock off tools are in spare tire well. The oil pressure gauge doesn't work, but car has good pressure (checked with gauge). The other gauges work just fine. Orignal Black paint is very shinny. There are some nicks in paint that are touched up. A dint size of quarter in left top bonnet, right rear quarter front of wheel well scraped, a baseball size dent in drivers side lower rocker. These defects don't take away from this XKE's great looks. 82k miles, manual trans.

Vehicle Condition
Car runs SUPER & Shows SUPER.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
