Ebay item 11/4/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $1,525.00, no reserve, 4 bids, 5 days left in auction. Note; the driver walked away from the accident.

Sellers description:
This is a 1968 E type 11/2. You can see from the pictures that it was in an accident. It has a 4.2 engine and automatic transmission. prior to getting hit in the right front the body was in very good condition. it had been well taken care of. There are five wire wheels.

Vehicle Condition
Look at the pictures and weep. However under the skin it has many fine features that make it prime for a project or for parting out. Six months before the accident I spent $17,000 on a total brake system, new suspension, exhaust system, had the transmission worked on and a major tune up. I believe none of these components were affected by the crash. but the carburators have been damaged. This car could be a major restoration project for the person with the right skills or it could be parted out. There are five wire wheels. I believe the engine, suspension and braking system could be use as well as left side body. I have been told that after market body panels are available.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
