Car has a buy it now price of $50,000 for 9 days. Seller classicjaguar
Sellers description:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to acquire a fun and relatively straightforward E Type project that should prove to be a wonderful long term investment. This fully matching number car had been with the same owner since the 1970's and is only for sale due to that gentleman's ill health. Well over $100,000 has been spent to date, including a high quality rotisserie body restoration using all new Martin Robey panels. The 100% rust free body features new floors, sills, boot floor, door skins and engine frames, with all panel replacement done to a high standard. All welded seams have been properly lead loaded, etc. The bumpers have all been re-plated, and the car comes with boxes of new replacement parts, yet been installed.
The engine, brakes, IRS and front suspension have all been completely rebuilt, although the restoration stalled about eight years ago, so the brake hydraulics will probably need servicing.
With all the hard (and expensive) work done, this would be a great car to build as a home project.
