This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster is finished in Pale Primrose over black leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six equipped with a Jenvey fuel injection system with individual throttle bodies. Additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, four-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood front calipers, 15″ wire wheels, AutoMeter gauges, a Sony digital stereo, aftermarket interior trim, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, and air conditioning. The car was acquired by the current owner’s late spouse in 2021. This XKE roadster is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with spare parts and a bonded Texas title.
The car is finished in Pale Primrose, and exterior equipment includes a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets. There is no soft top installed.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-off hubs and are mounted with 215/70 Hankook Optimo tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors and Wilwood front calipers.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. Aftermarket engine-turned-style trim has been added to the center console and dash and additional equipment includes Jaguar-branded metal sill plates, air conditioning, a digital Sony stereo, and a wood shift knob. The upholstery on the armrest is torn and disintegrating.
The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel frames AutoMeter instrumentation, including a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 800 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 4.2-liter inline-six has been fitted with a Jenvey individual throttle body fuel injection system. An aluminum radiator and aftermarket ignition components have also been installed along with aftermarket mufflers. The seller notes an oil leak.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
There is a bond on the Texas title.
