Finished in white with red upholstery, this particular left-hand drive example was supplied new to the USA. Reportedly dry-stored for eighteen years before being re-commissioned during the current ownership, the E-type has apparently had over ú20,000 spent on it with Jaguar specialists David Marks, VSE Engineering and Derek Watson. Treated to a "complete rebuild" of its 4.2 litre engine, new differential, replacement wiring loom and fresh tyres, the Roadster is described by the vendor as being in "excellent mechanical condition" with "rust free bodywork and underside". Riding on wire wheels, it is further said to be "a sound driving machine" and "daily usable car" that would benefit from "some cosmetics" (though the interior trim is supposedly "very good"). Well suited to Continental touring, this LHD Jaguar is offered for sale with "12 months MOT".
