ENTERED FROM THE LITCHFIELD COLLECTION
A home market open two-seater, this particular example - chassis number 1R1119 - has formed part of the Litchfield Collection since January 1998. Treated to an extensive restoration by a previous keeper who is rumoured to have been an RAF officer, its Light Blue metallic paintwork is complemented by Dark Blue leather upholstery. Riding on chrome-plated wire wheels and starting readily upon inspection, an accompanying MOT certificate indicates that the Jaguar has covered circa 600 miles over the past thirteen years. First registered by Leicester County Council (or so its `RJF 700G' number plate would imply), this rare home market Jaguar E-type Series II Open Two-Seater is offered for sale with an owner's handbook, Haynes workshop manual, SU carburetor literature, Martin Robey invoice and old MOT certificates.
