Current bid $8,988 reserve not met, 15 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

    Sellers description:
The car has been meticulously gone over and renewed where necessary.

The color was originally dull maroon so after much consideration looking over the original Jaguar colors it was decided to choose the Azure Blue. This color is in period and also shows the car to its best advantage. It is said that blue is the new red.

At night the blue color looks very dark and rich.

The car was stripped to bare metal and the finish rebuilt ensuring that all dings were repaired. The paint used used was Glazurit as it was deemed the best. I can see no imperfections on the body of the car and as most restorers know, the paint and finish is the most expensive part.

Other items that were taken into account were - new connolly leather interior and of course the vinyl and rubbers around the cockpit. These make the car look like new.

A new mohair hood was fitted.

A little rust was found in the usual places so the floors sills etc were replaced.

Gas tank cleaned out and checked.

Brakes needed new servo and master cylinder.

Engine runs very smooth. However, installed complete new exhaust system.

    New tires in period style.

All numbers match on this car.

Current bid $20,100 reserve not met, 18 bids 5 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
The car had a major restoration about two years ago. The body was taken down to the bare metal. Some panels were replaced. It was repainted with glazurit paint. The chrome is in very good except for small rust spots on the spokes of the wheels.

Runs strong with correct oil pressure. The brakes have been repaired with a new master cylinder and servo.

New leather and vinyl. The original radio is available withthe car. New mohair hood. I have owned the car for two years. Since then, I have driven it regularly and sorted out all the quirks. This is a great car at a realistic price. A joy to drive.

Current bid $15,000 reserve not met, 1 bid 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Branford, Connecticut. 22k miles.

    Sellers description:
Very sweet and striking E-type, fantastic shine, beautiful Azure blue, great fun to drive and just awesome to look at!

This particular Jaguar is a solid and rust free car. The body is straight with no dents or dings. Floor pans have been replaced with correct factory steel welded-in replacements.
The body is smooth, with no signs of damage. In the tub, you can see where floor restoration has been done. The seams for the new floor pans are all welded. There is seam sealer over the welds.

Nose is excellent, front of nose is very smooth especially up front where these are vulnerable to parking lot dents-nice! There is one dent under the nose, but you have to put the car up on a lift to see it, front of the nose (that you DO see) is excellent.

Chrome is quite nice throughout with only some minor pitting on the front bumper. Chrome wire wheels are nearly new, with excellent tires. Boring octagon knock offs were replaced with much more lively two eared knock offs. Nice! No A/C. Runs cool. Runs great! Great brakes!

The interior is very good, with original black glove leather seats with no tears or issues (see photos) and good dashboard and switches. The car comes with the original correct jack in the factory pouch. The car also has a nearly new stayfast/deluxe canvas top, that has been stored folded so the back window is a little creased. These creases should relax out in the sun. Windshield glass is excellent.

This car is great to drive with smooth six cylinder power and a great four-speed gear box. Great oil pressure, smooth shifting, everything sounds wonderful, recent exhaust system.
