I purchased the car in 2019, it was in good solid condition however the black paintwork was not brilliant. I had the entire car taken back to bare metal and she is now in excellent condition. To get the car running correctly the head had to come off, carbs were all rebuilt, and the suspension was all replaced, lots of other new parts including hood, alternator and other items now make the car a true beauty.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
