As seen on eBay. Ad description reads:

"The current owner is the second and has had the car for 3 years. There was a full restoration done 15,000 miles ago including an engine rebuild, new paint, new leather interior, and new top. Over $15,000 was invested in the restoration!

"In 1999 a $2,500 stereo/alarm system was installed. It comes with a Clifford motion sensor alarm and a Kenwood AM/FM CD player with rotating face plate to hide the stereo when it is off. There are 4 Boston Acoustic speakers in the front and 2 Boston Acoustic woofers and high-output amp in the trunk.

"There are some minor chips from normal driving. The tires are in good condition. The car also has the typical minor oil leaks."

Current bid $14,101.01 reserve not met, 7 bids 4 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Englewood, Colorado.

Sellers description:
1970 Jaguar XKE Roadster
Finished in Burgundy with Black Leather
The perfect Jaguar XKE for driving and using daily.

One local Denver family has owned this car since new. This is a well preserved unrestored example that will delight any Jaguar enthusiast with its originality (aside from the GM alternator).

Clutch replacement just done last week with receipts from one of the best British shops around.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
