VIN #: 1R2511-5

Exterior: Primrose Yellow
Interior: Black
1969 Jaguar E-Type FHC, Primrose yellow with 45,900 original documented miles.
It had 42,135 on the odometer when purchased in 1983 by the second owner and 43,560 when I purchased in June of 2009.
This car has been driven 6,000 miles since engine rebuild in April of 1975!!
Documented service history back to 1975.
Since owning this car and driving it to a couple of both British and historic automobile shows a year I have won 3 first place awards, three seconds and a third.
This car was profiled by a national daily newspaper 3 years ago.
All original even the wheels including the spare, except radiator! Original jack, tools and storage bag. Pictures show aftermarket radio HOWEVER also have original radio and speakers in pristine condition. Car was painted prior to 1983 and with three appraisals over the years not one appraiser spotted the re-paint as it is so good.
All original dials all working except Smiths clock as batteries no longer available.
Front brake lines were replaced a couple of years ago.
VIN Number 1R25115
Stored in heated garages since new.
Car was taken to Jaguar concourse event in Detroit in 1983 and scored a 91.1 which was second place for a drive in.
There is absolutely no rust on this car, no rips or tears! A couple of seams/stitching in the driver's seat over time have partially come apart.
Have a look at all the photos including the headliner, sun visors, the rear underbody pan, wheels etc. Body panel fit is exceptional and the sides of the car are laser straight. Very tight car to drive with no play in the steering.
Has had a couple of compression tests in the past and for the buyer I will provide a compression test before delivery.
It has an anti-theft alarm, headlight covers and a lay down front licence plate frame to allow for better airflow to the engine. Alarm system, radio, and 70's computer for cruise control manuals come with car. Many small parts included.
The car was undercoated when new as you will see in the photos.
This car was a Windsor Ontario Canada car and now is located close to Toronto Ontario Canada. PRICED in U.S. DOLLARS
Price: $98,00
