Current bid $20,000 reserve not met, 1 bid 5 days left in auction. Complete VIN on this car is J691R25276. 81k miles.

Sellers description:
A fine example of E-Type design and beauty. It is cosmetically and mechanically sensational and runs and drives great. This vehicle is part of an estate sale by the family. Owner babied his E-Type with love and had a lengthy restoration performed on vehicle. While it is not a 100 point Jaguar it is a beautiful detailed example. There is plenty of paperwork in the owner's files on all the work he put into the automobile. Interior was upholstered in supple leather. Local restoration shop claims this car was a dream to paint as it needed little preparation for the new paint.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
