Sellers description:
Here we have one of the rarest Etypes, An excellent history, very low mileage and all original:
- 1969 Jaguar Etype FHC, came from UK new to USA, after to JAPAN and back to USA in 1983.
- Matching Numbers ( have the Certificate of Heritage )
- ONE OWNER and come with the ORIGINAL Title issued in 9th June 1969
- 16,015 Original Miles
- It's all original except for a recent respray on its nice silver grey color
- Manual Transmission
- Chassis number 1R25654
- Engine number 7R3563-9
- Runs and drive
The car been delivered new to USA in 1969 to Mr. TERRELL SMITH from Arlington VA, who was an ACT Military and been parked in JAPAN until at least 1983. So this very rare Etype traveled to JAPAN ( UH2 / Hachinohe Japan and Misawa AB Japan) in the early 70's and came back to the USA in 15th July 1983. ( see stickers). On one sticker we can read " ...forces JAPAN".
When delivered again to USA with 16,015 Miles it has a brakes problem and been sitting until 2017.
There is NO visible rust nor any damage. Engine runs and gearbox shift very good, one of the carburetors need to be rebuilt. Brakes been repaired.

Hi Steven, i just saw my Etype in your data base, thank you so much for your efforts in trying to make an Etype database.
Please note that my Etype is not a restoration project, i saw that you mentioned in the condition case " awaiting rest." which is incorrect, this Etype is in a preservation condition, sure it is not a show condition. So please make the correction in the condition case.
Thank You
Serge
