Mr. Harwood,
Could you give me the specifics of your SU conversion as I have a Series 2 also, early with the aluminum pre heat crossover. What, where, how, cost? Thanks. Robert

Update with new photos May 2008.
Car has ca. 33k miles. New Vredestein 185hr15 tires installed this month. Differential swapped for a 3:31 posi unit from a 1978 XJ-S, rebuilt locally. This swap was done in spring 2007. Car is still used regularly during fair weather.

Car now has 34788 miles. Just returned from a 500 mile drive to Columbus and West Baden, IN, with the Illinois Jaguar Club. It was a great drive and the E-type ran flawlessly. Only recent work was the replacement of the A/C compressor with the original one rebuilt with a new shaft seal.

Hello all, still here with the E-Type, now showing ca. 39.5k miles. Recent activity included attending the JCNA concours hosted by JAGIN at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport (Fishers) in late August. Was surprised to get first place out of three cars in class D3. Since previous photos the radiator cooling fans have been replaced with CoolCat units with the blades painted white for a more original look.

My wife and I purchased E-Type 1R25873 in April 1998 with ca. 21k miles showing and the original Dunlop tires mounted. As a British ex-pat living in the US I was always interested in British cars but especially Jaguars. My late father, E. S. (Ernie) Harwood, owned a Jaguar XK-120 during the time he was courting and later married my mother (ca. 1960). Unfortunately that was traded for a Singer Gazelle (I think) after I came along but the interest in Jaguar cars has persisted down the line. Thank you.
