Ebay item 10/15/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-/151849068460
Current bid US $10,000 reserve not met 6 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be located in East Setauket, New York, seller stephgursk

Sellers description:
Numbers matching 1969 E-type Fixed Head Coup. Same owner since the late 1970's.

This solid & straight E-type coupe was driven into a dry garage in the fall of 1982 and has been parked there until now. First two images show the car before it went into the garage in 1982. Ran perfectly fine until someone decided to do a respray since the body was showing its age. Minor cosmetic work was started along with taking apart the dash (for no good reason), it has sat in this condition for 35 years. Busy schedules and life have left it untouched for over 3 decades. Engine turns over smooth & even.

We all know a 16K low miles project when we see one; like most, this E-type Odometer went around once, making it an honest 116,992 mile car for real.

This is a 98% complete rolling project with all #'s matching. The only thing we know is missing is the Windshield. Floors and foot wells are very solid. This is not a rotten E-type!! mostly surface rust. minimal metal replacement needed. Most body work was to remove dings and dents. . Only area we found rust repair work is drivers side trailing arm mount area looks reinforced with fiber glass in the 70's. some plastic found on the drivers lower rocker in front of the rear wheel well. Boot floor is solid except for the front edge that has some filler on it(pictured) This E-type is overall very solid. Please look carefully at all the parts images. We can't be certain that all the small bits are there. What you see is what you get !!!!!!!! There are many jars & boxes with much of the hardware marked etc. Clear transferable NY state registration ( Title) is ready for the next owner.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
