Sold by DM Historics at E Type UK of Hadlow in August 2022. Abbreviated seller's description below.

Offered is a full matching numbers 1970 fixed head coupe, finished in a classic combination of Carmen Red over Black trim. Produced in January, delivered and sold via British Leyland New York a month later. Whilst the earliest year's of the E Type's life aren't present in the history file, the car is recorded in Casselbury, Florida in 1995 with the E Type exported to the UK in 1999, supported by HM Customs documentation in the file.

In Autumn 2012, the E Type, mostly in restored condition, was treated to a light works programme to refine its condition and usability. Over a 4 year period further works undertaken include LHD to RHD conversion, gearbox reconditioning, fitting a high torque starter motor, Moto Lita 14'' wooden steering wheel, replacing most exterior chrome brightwork. The owner began building the accompanying history file, retaining invoices and receipts for work undertaken.

In early 2016 the E Type was sold to the current owner and has covered less than 2,000 miles since. It has always been meticulously maintained, being dry stored in a temperature controlled garage. Presented in fantastic condition, this Series 2 coupe stands out from the crowd. It sits on 15'' chrome triple laced wheels with a fresh set of tyres, this classic pairs heritage colours with an eye catching road stance.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
