Offered here is a 1969 registered (11-02-69) example of the 2+2, 2 which makes it a Series 2 car. The car has the 4.2 XK engine, three speed Borg Warner automatic transmission and is said to have covered a warranted 71,000 miles from new. This is supported by every MOT certificate from 1979 to date.

Finished in French blue with dark blue leather, the car has recently benefited from reupholstered front seats and central arm rest and a full engine rebuild by Racing Green of Farnham (the engine is still under warranty until 30th Nov 2011). At the time of writing the engine has covered just 500 miles on the rebuild.

The car sits on chrome wire wheels, is equipped with a Webasto style sunroof and is offered complete with history dating back to 1977, the original owner's manual, service booklet, sales and service location booklet, radio + instructions and the original cigarette lighter, which still works.

Estimate £16500-18000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
