Ebay item 10/16/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-VERY-SOLID-CAR-FOR-RESTORATION-/121788952530
Car has a buy it now price of $21,500 for 6 days. Seller faunlimited1 100k miles.
Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar E-Type 2+2 W/ Manual transmission.
This car is one of the more solid projects I have seen in a while, Retaining its original floors in very nice shape/Sills in nice shape as well. It would make for a straight forward restoration.
Mechanical:
The Engine is numbers matching, and It does turnover by hand. The engine oil is very clean, and with some carburetor/fuel system work, It could fire up. I have not attempted to try. The manual transmission shifts thru all gears fine.
Paint/Body/trim
the paint will obviously need to be redone, It does appear to retain its original color of Brown, and seen Behind the door panels also. the body is straight, and gaps are good. The underside/floors/sills are in nice shape. The chrome trim/bumpers appear in Very good shape/ possibly re-done or replaced in the past
Interior.
The interior appears all original with the exception of the front seats, which look to have been recovered, and are in great shape.
the rear seat appears original. The headliner is sagging, but again- the car is a project.
Overall a solid Jaguar E-Type for restoration!
I have applied for a Texas title, and Will have it in the mail shortly.
