Current bid $2,025 reserve not met, 9 bids 5 days left in auction. 52K miles.
Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar XKE Type Series II 2+2 Coupe
VIN: 1R41461BW
For sale a 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II 2+2 Coupe. It has the 4.2L DOHC inline 6 cyl with an automatic transmission and AC. 52,000 original miles. The 2+2 version has a back seat and the fast back rear window with a hatch door. The car has been repainted light yellow and has the original black leather interior. It has real spoke wheels with true knock off hubs.
This car is partially restored and needs to be finished. The few rusted parts have been repaired or replaced and it is a solid car including new front floors and all four jacking points have been rebuilt. The fuel system has been completely replaced from a brand new tank, remanufactured pump and completely rebuilt carbs. The radiator was recored and the engine received a complete tune up with new ignition parts and all belts and cooling hoses. The exhaust was also replaced from the mufflers back, with new chrome resonators and tail pipes. The rear end was also restored with new brakes and brake lines as well as new driveshaft and half shaft U-joints.
The engine runs but would need some tuning work to be reliable. The car hasn’t driven in a few years so the transmission status is unknown. It’s currently partially disassembled as seen in the pictures. Some extra parts, including wheels.
