Sellers description:
Nice Original E-Type 2+2 Coupe. Car is very straight and solid. Has what I belive to be original paint or at least very, very old as evident by the laquer checking.

The good news on this car is it has had a complete mechanical restoration since 2000. Rebuilt original 4.2 liter inline 6 motor. Rebuilt original Auto (4 speed) transmission( has very light leak after driving some distance and then stopping- though this has lighten as I have been driving it regularly recently. New brakes, rebuilt cylinders, clutch, cooling fans, radiator. The car fires instantly, idles smoothly and drives very well. Tires are near new. I would not hesitate to get in this car and go anywhere today. dash gauges and lights, signals wipers etc... all work. Clock is not working nor is interior dome light.

Glass is all very good with new rubber on windshield and rear door glass.

Interior is mostly original and serviceable for a driver. Still looks presentable. I have a new dash cover not yet installed but included.

Chrome is very presentable everywhere. Has very nice chrome (not painted) wire wheels.

Front end has new bushings and rubber, Drives straight and smooth.

Body has no apparent rust anywhere ever. No signs of repair and all body lines at hood, doors are very good and straight. Car has clear CA title and current registration.
