1970 Jaguar E Type Series 2 2+2 FHC
Primrose Yellow
Coupe
3 Speed Automatic
4.2 litre Straight Six
14,323 miles
VIN-No. 1R43235BW
A$ 59,995

Open headlights without covers, wrap around rear bumper, repositioned and larger front indicators and rear tailamps, better cooling with larger “open” mouth, twin cooling fans and uprated brakes are all features of the Series 2 cars. Flick switches on the dash were also replaced with rocker switches to meet U.S health and safety regulations.
Available as Open Top Sports, Fixed Head Coupe or as we have here 2+2 Coupe, this car features automatic transmission and the rare factory fitted power steering which both add up to make it a pleasure to drive and very 'Family' friendly.

With over $25k spent with well known Jaguar restoration specialist 'Concours Sportscar Restoration' and a comprehensive service and check over with our own specialist workshop 'Cummins Classic Cars' this car is ready to be used to its full potential, equally at home cruising at speed through winding lanes of a weekend to crawling across the Harbour Bridge in the rush hour.

Finished in ultra stylish Primrose Yellow with freshly trimmed Black leather you would be very happy to arrive anywhere in this car.

The 2+2 is the best value entrance into E Type ownership and is also the most useable of the models.

Advertised for sale 29 June 2021 on carsales.com.au, asking AU$129,900.  Car is located in Sydney.

Selling dealer states: “This lovely 1970 E-Type Jaguar was the subject of a major restoration in 2009, by Concours Sportscar Restoration.  Since then this very drivable 2+2 automatic has actually be driven and regularly serviced. Unlike so many of these increasingly collectable classics that hide away in garage collections, this car has enjoyed regular outings, with an owner what was happy to spend the money to keep it reliable and in good order”. Registration number MV668.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
