Opening bid $5,000.00 (Reserve not met), no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1970 Jaguar XKE-Type. The car has had one owner or it's been in the family since new. My father purchased it brand new in 1970. He gave it to my husband in 2001 and since then it has been constantly garaged. The vehicle has a little over 75,000 on it and is in relatively good condition. We started it up today, car runs well, but my husband rarely drives it.

Antique tags, no inspection. Vehicle has had one (1) owner. We have the original title.

Opening bid $10,000 reserve not met, no bids yet, 9 days left in auction. 70k miles. Car now located in Jupiter, Florida.

Sellers description:
1970 xke 2+2 that I purchased from the original owner. It started its life in ohio and later to pennsylvania. this jag is very unusual for the fact that everything works, even the clock. lucas the prince of darkness has not got this car. the air condition works great. In the last year this car has been basically rebuilt mechanically. some of the things done has been new brakes all the way around, new tires, rebuilt front end, new exhaust, new fuel pump, new alternator, new transmission seals and master cylinder. I have the bills that show in the last year we have spent $9,410.27. In september the paint was showing its age so I decided to have it painted. the body was in good shape it just needed some parking lot dings removed and a good paint job done. the place that I chose to do the work also does rolls royce, so I assumed he would do an excellent job. He promised the car to me by thanksgiving, well! I just got he car back and I have been fighting with him since thanksgiving. I paid a lot of money, but I am still not satisfied with the work. the car looks great except there are minor blemishes that he just never fixed. maybe I am to picky. It is not a concourse paint job, but it would serve for a very nice driver. anyway, I paid $8600.00 so you can see that I am in to this car way beyond what I can sell it for, but at least this will be things that you want have to put in one. I took it for a two hour drive on the interstate today and it did just great. I noticed when I put it in passing gear, it would sputter, so the carbs or electrical needs to be checked. at 75 miles per hour, it is very smooth. If you have been looking for a low milage jag and one that was very good mechanically then this is the car for you. you dont have any body work or mechanics to worry about.

Current bid $11,212.00 reserve not met, 2 bids, 6 days left in auction. Car now in Orlando, Florida.

Sellers description:
Good example of a daily driver vehicle. The car still has original paint and if I were keeping it I would repaint. There is no evidence of previous body repairs or accident damage. I could only find one rust spot, behind driver’s seat where carpet floor snap is/was. The interior is also original and could stand a through cleaning of the seats, or re-upholstering. The windows all work well and the seats recline properly. The door panels are nice having all, except one small strip, of the chrome strips and hardware. The glass in good condition and all switches work. I have the louvers out of the air-conditioner vent to repair and the air blows cold. (R12) Radio works, wipers work…… Within the last 6 months the tie rods were replaced, electronic ignition installed, new coil, new front shocks and bushings, front calipers rebuilt, replaced rear sub-frame mounts, new brake lines, new lower engine mounts, seals, gaskets, and hoses, new drive-shat u-joints, and transmission seals and gaskets, and more. This was a seven thousand dollar tune-up that makes for a nice daily driver. I drive it to work about three days a week on a 60 mile round trip. Most drivers (younger ones) don’t know what it is.
