Sellers description:
This Jaguar E-Type was purchased new in Frankfurt Germany by an Air Force Captain. He originally wanted a red car but the only color that was available was blue. The car was repainted red at that time.
The second owner bought the car in 1970 from a Ford Dealer. The Captain and his wife had a baby and needed a bigger car.
This car has been mostly trouble free and the owner had the timining chain replaced with a new design chain that was quieter. This was about 30 years ago.
The brake pads were changed a few years ago. There is now silicone fluid in the car.
This car only has 42,782 original miles.
