In 1990, Coventry Classics of Orlando, Florida completed a four-year ground up restoration of this automobile at 50,920 original miles, featuring: complete strip and spray of the body; complete new interior with leather seats, wool carpet and a Haartz cloth top; mechanical rebuild of engine, clutch, brake system and installed a new stainless steel exhaust system and re-chroming as necessary. This excellent restoration, finished in Guards Red with Biscuit interior / top (to include tonneau), and five new Michelin Redlines mounted on high quality wire wheels, has been garaged every day since restoration, been driven only 5,000 careful miles and has never been rained on. All records of restoration / maintenance are available. While this restoration initiative is not quite concours quality, it is none-the-less a beautiful, street worthy classic
